We found three toys that should be some of the best selling Christmas toys for 2013. In no particular order here they are:

It’s a great tool for making learning fun and more visual. The stickers with numbers have to be applied to the blocks. The stickers are included with the set. Some of the stickers will include symbols like an addition or subtraction sign. It is helpful for parents to play along with their kids to help facilitate learning. She wears a beautiful tiara and transparent slippers – just like the glass ones Cinderella wore in the classic tale. Overall this is a large doll that kids will love and they will also relate to it. Kids will love to create their own magical stories. There is even a hair brush for keeping Cinderella looking beautiful at all times. There is even a magical want that activates 25 different songs and phrases. You have to wave the wand in front of Cinderella to activate it. If you want the wand feature to work you cannot change her outfit.  She wears a beautiful, intricate, sparkly blue dress. This toy will appeal to girls ages 3 and over. Some of you may not be aware that Vtech has another tablet up its sleeves called the Brilliant Creations Color Touch Tablet. Their other tablet, of course, is the Vtech InnoTab 2. This color touch table feature 80 games and learning activities. This tablet also features a motion sensor. You can tilt the device to make your choice. Also, you can use the touchscreen interface or the built-in keyboard. Some of the categories are creativity, language, math, science, and logic. Most of the activities feature three difficulty levels. A progress report key allows parents to check their child’s progress.  This device as the look of a tablet with a kid-friendly look and feel. There are a lot of activities and levels to keep kids engaged. The Brilliant Creations Color Touch Tablet is recommended for ages 4 – 7. For best results with the tilt mechanism it is recommended that you hold the device at a thirty degree angle.

We think that Furreal Friends Baby Butterscotch maybe one of the best rated toys of 2013. It is one of the best Furreal Friends ever. Other runners up include the Cookie Monster Café and Playdough Power Crane.

This Sesame Street Come n Play Cookie Monster Kitchen Café allows kids ages 18 months and up to engage in fun pretend play. The Play-Doh Diggin’s Rigs Buster the Power Crane combines Play-Doh with construction trucks. Ten different tools are included with the set. There will be some Play-Doh bricks. There are even several Buster phrases that kids can listen to. You can place some Play-Doh into the Power Crane and out it comes on the other side. Four three ounce cans of Play-Doh are included with this toy set. They will actually come in different colors. There are also some hand tools for cutting and rolling the Play-Doh. You also get some templates to help you create different shapes with designs. Construction is a play pattern for boys so boys will love this nice set. Cinderella’s legs, arms, and waist are poseable and articulated. She has glass like eyes with four shades of blue that give it a more realistic look. She has beautiful lips and long eye lashes. And her hair is comprised of individual strands of hair rather than a generic hair mold. The Disney Princess & me Cinderella Diamond Edition doll is recommended for girls ages 6 and over. It is also recommended for collectors of Disney Princess & Me dolls.  It’s a great way to celebrate the re-release of the Cinderella movie.

The Lego Duplo Disney Princess Cinderella’s Castle is a great set for the younger kids. It allows younger kids who love Cinderella to experience the magic with the fun of Legos. The pieces are bigger so that makes it easier to build. The set looks fantastic and it is full of color. Plus, you get a few minifigures – one of which is Cinderella.

LEGO Star Wars The Old Republic Sith Fury-class Interceptor
The Lego Star Wars The Old Republic Sith Fury-class Interceptor is a great set for Lego Star Wars fans and fans of the Old Republic. This set is a 748 piece Lego set featuring intricate detailing for the most die-hard of Star Wars fans. The set looks fantastic and it would make for a great showpiece. This is a challenging build for those who are not seasoned Lego builders. Three Lego figures are included. The instruction manuals are really well done as they guide your through the building process. There are a lot of small pieces and a lot of tight fits. If you’re not up for the challenge this is not the set for you. But if you want an excellent model of the Sith Interceptor look no further than this phenomenal set. For most kids this could take about 3 – 4 hours of build time. This set is recommended for collectors and Lego fans ages 9 and over.

Lego The Lord of the Rings Attack on Weathertop
The Lego The Lord of the Rings Attack on Weathertop is a new set in the new Lord of the Rings line from Lego. This is a great looking set that allows fans to recreate the scenes from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. You’ll get four mini figures as well as Frodo for a total of 5. This is a 430 piece Lego set so it is not all that difficult in terms of building difficulty. Unfortunately, Sam and Pippin are missing even though they were a part of this scene. The Weathertop model can also be opened up to allow for play inside. There are even cool touches like a trap door and some flick fire missiles that can actually be fired. There are plenty of great features in this set that will appeal to Lord of the Rings fans. This Lego Lord of the Rings set is recommended for ages 8 – 14. Now keep in mind that the trap door and flick missiles aren’t really in the scene of the movie, but they do add a little bit of action to this great set. Fans can even reimagine the scene that took place at Weathertop by using their imaginations and creating something entirely new. This set on average takes more or less one hour or less to build. Of course, this will depend on your skill level at building Lego sets.

LEGO Star Wars The Malevolence
The Lego Star Wars The Malevolence is a 94 piece Lego Star Wars set that replicates the cruiser from The Clone Wars. The model captures the essence with lots of internal details. This is one Lego Star Wars set that will appeal to many Star Wars fans. The cannons on this model can actually fire. For an expert builder, it took about 2 ½ hours to build. So for most people it may take anywhere between 3 – 4 hours to build. Builders need to have the patience to put together all of the small parts and assemble the finer details. You can even pretend to fly this model around with the included handle. Siz minifigures are included with this set.

Here are three toys that are going to be on many people’s best toys 2013 lists. Fans of Captain America, Winx Club, and Monopoly are going to love these toys. Marvel Superheroes The Avengers Captain America  

The Lego Marvel Superheroes The Avengers Captain America figure is a 44 piece set that builds a model of the superhero Captain America. Some people will argue that this is far from a great model of Captain America because it seems as if many parts of his body are missing. But you have to keep in mind that these are Lego pieces so they have to be constructed in a certain manner in order for them to move around. Looking at the back of the model reveals all of the ball joints which looks terrible especially from a model perspective. Captain America is instantly recognizable with his red and white shield and blue costume. The ball and socket construction can be seen from behind the model which is a bit unsightly but it allows for better articulation and poseability. This is much more an action toy than a construction toy even though it is brought to you by the folks over at Lego. This is a great set for fans of Captain America and The Avengers. There are other sets in the Lego Marvel Superheroes line. Collect all of your favorite Marvel Superheroes from The Avengers.

Winx Club Concert Collection  

Winx Club is a new series based on the Nickelodeon cartoon. There are about five  or six different Winx Club Concert dolls in the collection. These are fairy dolls that will appeal for Winx Club fans. The Winx Club dolls look fabulous and beautiful. Girls will love playing with the Winx Club Convert dolls. Collect all of your favorite Winx Club dolls in the Concert Collection. The dolls are Bloom, Stella, Laura, Moussa, and Aeisha. This dolls are highly collectible and they are a wonderful source of fun and imaginative play. Girls who love playing with dolls and especially Winx dolls will love these magically little fairy dolls.

Monopoly zAPPed  

Monopoly zAPPed is a new version of the classic Monopoly board game that integrates the iPad. The iPad adds a whole new dimension of interactivity to the traditional board game of Monopoly. This is perfectly for family game night or a get together with friends. The whole game revolves around the iPad or iPhone. It is a bit cumbersome to play the game with the iPhone. The iPad works best. And you get a credit card with $15 million dollars to begin the game. You make purchases and play the game with the iPad. Chance allows kids to engage in fun mini-games. Kids may actually enjoy this mini games. There’s no money in this version of Monopoly as you are using electronic funds via your credit card. Overall, it is a great new addition for an already solid board game. Monopoly zAPPed allows you to play the traditional game with some welcome additions. This new version costs about $10 more than the traditional version of Monopoly plus you’ll need an iPad to get the most out of this new version. Kids who love videogames and mini games will be fascinated with this new version because after all that is the target market.
